Return & Refund Policy

At TheArtOutlet.net, we want you to love your artwork. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Return Eligibility

Because many of our products are made-to-order, returns are only accepted under specific conditions.

You may be eligible for a return or replacement if:

  • Your item arrives damaged

  • You receive the wrong product

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect size selection

  • Color variations due to screen settings

  • Minor differences that do not affect product functionality

  • Custom or personalized artwork (unless defective)


2. Reporting an Issue

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Include your order number

  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Describe the issue clearly

Claims submitted after the reporting period may not be eligible for review.


3. Damaged Items

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  • Do not discard the packaging

  • Take clear photos of the damage

  • Send images showing both the product and the outer packaging

Once verified, we will:

  • Offer a free replacement
    or

  • Issue a refund (if replacement is not possible)

We do not require you to return damaged items unless specifically requested.


4. Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 7 days

  • Provide photos of the received item

We will arrange:

  • A replacement at no additional cost
    or

  • A full refund if preferred


5. Refund Process

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by us.


6. Return Shipping (If Required)

In rare cases where a return is requested:

  • The product must be unused and in original condition

  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

We recommend using a trackable shipping service.


7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase.

After production begins, cancellation may not be possible due to the custom nature of our products.


8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Custom prints

  • Personalized artwork

  • Made-to-order framed pieces

  • Clearance or final sale items
